Witnessing *Cringe*

Witnessing is rather hard. I just thought I'd get that straight right from the beginning of this post.

But like many hard things, spreading the gospel is good and it's important. It is a very big deal. We spend so much times in our lives working for material treasures, but none of it leaves earth with us. Only people can come to heaven. We also spend a lot of time in our Christian circles, not ever bothering to try to enlarge it. I'm not saying that we need to start hanging out with the non-believers, but somehow or another, we need to get the saving message of Christ and His resurrection to them. Think of it this way: how would you like to be one of the people that has never been told about salvation? That kind of puts a different twist on it, if you think of it that way. I'm not claiming to be good at this. I've only ever done street evangelism once and have communicated God's love to very few people. I'm going to keep trying though and I hope you do too.

(Yes, this post was rather short, but sometimes small things are the most powerful)

so true, it takes so much courage to come and tell someone your faith, but yet so important. And yeah, short ones are usually the most important and powerfull.

Witnessing is difficult, especially when it is not led by the Holy Spirit. We need to allow Christ to be living through us in all aspects of our witness. In our words, deeds, actions, attitudes, in every way possible, and be thankful for His grace when we fall short.
